Oh, Some Sort of National Healthcare "Solution" is now OK

I don't understand why the U.S. government isn't more proactive on health care. Regardless of whether one believes in sort of the individual-responsibility model or single-payer system, there's a lot of things that can be done to get the cost of health care and the quality of health care moving in the right direction. I think this is an area where strong leadership from the government could play a key role. Information technology is one possibility. Another is leveraging the buying power of the government, which is the biggest purchaser of health care under Medicare and things of that sort.Well, he wasn't so confused in the WSJ. What happened in a few weeks. Obviously, clear leadership in action.
