Spyin', Continued
W still hasn't explained why there wasn't enough time for a FISA court rubber stamp. Well, he has for the minority of the electorate that are his hardcore supporters.
Query, though: What exactly is going on? W, and impeachable source (I swear no pun intended), implies... what, that the "system" is not tapping specific individuals but scans for dialed phone #s?? Well, if so, the recipient of the phone call is known so why aren't they surveilled?
(What he said: "'The NSA program is one that listens to a few numbers,' the president told reporters....")
Meanwhile, interesting: With a Justice probe, he can play the Plame Game: "I can't comment since there's an investigation." And of course, the DOJ investigation will shift the story from W's illegality. Beautiful respect for the law.
