DeLay
Show of hands: Who really thinks this is the end of the Hammer? Too tired to go into details or rationalization but bottom line is this is pretty much just a lowering of profile. And if the Hammer was right, he may well have been facing involuntary retirement in November anyway.
So Tommy gets to get a big wad of contributions (on top of whatever he may have skimmed over the years :)) and get to use his influence with even less exposure than now. The danger and horror that is DeLay is lessened oh so little....
And let's, while we're at it, call him what he is:
Traitor.
He hates democracy which is to say he hates America or, that is to say, what it represents or is mant to represent, and has devoted his political career to destroying what the Founders believed in and created.
