Hav-A-Laff
The Wall Street Journal's online question of the day queries desired constitutional amendments. Choices are balanced budget, flag burning, gay marriage and privacy rights in addition to something else and don't need no changing (I parahrase). The last has almost 50% of the vote at the moment.
Me, I chose something else -- I think presidential recalls would be cool. No fear of impeachment, that is, the fear of (de jure) President Cheney. With a recall, you can effectively toss out the entire administration. We now live in an era of the 365/24/7 campaign, so why limit ourselves to a solitary election only once every four years?
